Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime safari adventure in Tanzania, guided by the renowned and experienced Leslie Udwin and his team. Your journey begins with a warm welcome at Mt. Kilimanjaro Airport, where you’ll be greeted upon arrival from your international flight.
Your first evening sets the tone for the adventure ahead as you settle into the enchanting luxury lodge that will host you for 2 nights and is just a short drive from the airport.
The safari commences with a tour of Arusha National Park on Day 2, offering a captivating introduction to Africa’s natural wonders. Marvel at the sight of a million flamingos, encounter Olive Baboons, Black and White Colobus monkeys, Cape Buffalo and giraffes in their natural habitat.
Venture into the Southern Serengeti on Day 3, traveling in safari vehicles with private guides to witness the awe-inspiring great migration. Staying at a tented camp, you’ll experience the unique privilege of going off-road to follow lions on the prowl – a rare opportunity reserved for this time of year.
Days 4 and 5 bring full-day safaris in the vast Southern Serengeti, surrounded by a million animals. Your tented camp provides an ideal vantage point for hearing lions’ roars from near and far.
As the adventure unfolds, transition to the central Serengeti on Day 7, exploring granite hills and witnessing the head of the migration – tens of thousands of zebras. Immerse yourself in the landscapes made famous by “The Lion King” movies.
Continue the exploration in the Eastern Serengeti on Days 8 and 9, encountering magnificent lion prides and leopards amidst the fantastic granite hills. Day 10 marks a journey to the Western Serengeti for a different landscape with low hills, lakes, and forests.
Experience a full day safari in the Western Serengeti on Day 11, characterized by its unique topography loved by elephants. Day 12 offers another full day of adventure before you bid farewell to this region.
On Day 13, journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, should be a wonder of the world, for a full day safari. Stay at stunning lodge right inside the Ngorongoro Crater, offering breathtaking views of the crater teeming with wildlife.
Day 15 takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, where elephants, tree-climbing lions, and a sea of flamingos await. Explore Tarangire National Park on Day 16, known for its Baobab trees, elephants, and massive buffalo herds.
Your extraordinary adventure concludes on Day 17 as you depart from JRO airport, carrying with you the memories of an unforgettable African safari. Africa becomes a part of you, promising to linger in your heart forever.

Zanzibar Add-On
Wrap up your Serengeti Safari with a captivating Zanzibar Add-On – just a 2-hour flight to the Spice Islands of pure magic.
Enchanting beaches, vibrant markets, and the aroma of exotic spices await, promising the perfect conclusion to your adventure.
On May 5, take a direct flight from Lake Manyara to Zanzibar. A 10-minute transfer leads you to the Hyatt Stone Town, right on the beach and next to Stone Town’s markets.
Explore Stone Town on May 6 with a full-day walk through its narrow, charming alleyways. May 7 offers leisure, with options like a Spice Tour or an Island Tour. Alternatively, relax on the beach and watch Dhow fishing boats in the harbor.
On May 8, enjoy a leisurely day at the beach or take a dhow out to one of the 400 plus islands around and do some diving.
On May 9 you catch your flight to Dar Es Salaam where you connect seamlessly with KLM or Emirates flights back to the USA or Canada.

All cancellation notices must be received in writing (email is acceptable) and will become effective as of the date of receipt by Red Sun Safaris.
